Hunit is delighted to have been selected to join the LawtechUK sandbox, a project designed to help innovative technology companies bring about digital transformation in the UK legal sector.
The future of the legal sector depends on digital transformation. We can’t wait to get started in the program to share our views on how we see our DLT-based Smart Legal Contracts helping to drive the change. By using blockchain and Smart Legal Contracts (SLC) creates efficiencies inside of the management of relationships between security issuers and investors, as well as saving admin hours for legal professionals, freeing up their time for advising and strategising.
Hunit CEO, Aaron Powers, said: "We look forward to working with all participants in the program - taking advantage of regulatory dialogue, new connections, and a huge data set. We’re thrilled to be part of a great group of companies for LawtechUK - we’ll be working with a number of regulatory bodies to make sure that our platform for smart legal contracts delivers value and innovation that is fully compliant with today’s legal system - the law is one place where you can’t play cat and mouse with the rules."
LawtechUK is a government-backed initiative within Tech Nation to help transform the UK legal sector through technology. As part of the program, LawtechUK announced eight companies chosen to join the latest cohort in its R&D environment, the Lawtech Sandbox, at the Legal Geek Conference in London.
